The Saudi-Djibouti partnership in Education in progress

Djibouti (Saylac.com)-A Djibouti delegation led by the minister of education is in work visit with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since last Saturday.

Mr. Abdi Ibrahim Absieh and her Saudi interlocutors sent a note  to saylac.com that the Djibouti delegation visited several establishments including; higher education, a city reserved for sciences and technologies and the historical centre of king Abdelaziz in Riyadh and jeddah in company of Saudi persons in charge and our ambassador in Saudi Arabia, Saudis and Dia Bamakhrama.

The minister and the members of his delegation were received in Riyadh by the vice-minister of the State education and with JEDDAH by the minister of l' Higher education. Their stay in Saudi Arabia seems profitable. said the Djibouti head of delegation.

Since the parts Djibouti and Saudi signed a master agreement of co-operation in the field of the higher education. A partnership which will facilitate the access to the Saudi universities for a hundred d' Djibouti students who will be able there to register in the specialties of their choice. Q/' it s' acts of 1st, 2nd or 3rd cycle of l' higher education.

As for the young university of Djibouti, its leaders will be from now on measures of it; to draw up partnership conventions with their counterparts with the head of the universities and the institutions of search for this country brother which are ready with to accompany in its development.

Djibouti Newly University is running smoothly and there are more than 250 Students in 2007-2008 school year, most of whom came from the next door Region of Awdal, Somaliland.
